The Boatyard menu, overseen by Chef Konrad Jochum of Key West, features signature items from some of Key West's most famous restaurants and chefs and original dishes inspired by the flavors, cuisine and casual style of the islands. From Louie's Backyard - Conch Fritters with Hot Pepper Jelly and Wasabi Mayonnaise... from Alonzo's Oyster Bar - Crispy Fried Lobster Sandwiches and the most incredible dessert ever invented... creamy Key Lime pie on a stick, dipped in dark chocolate and frozen. The food is awesome, the prices reasonable, the Margaritas giant, ice-cold miracles of perfection, but one of the best things about Boatyard is the music!

Inspired by the casual nature of coastal and island living... designed to ease right in with the rustic, open-air feel of the docks of Grand Lagoon, the Boatyard just begs you to hang out, kick back... unwind. Owned and managed by the folks from Schooners, the Last Local Beach Club, Boatyard has a personality all its own, but reflects the same good times attitude and dedication to live entertainment that locals love about Schooners. The colorful comings and goings of Grand Lagoon provide the perfect backdrop for the lively crowd, and sometimes it's just impossible to resist the urge to take a spin around the dance floor.

Boatyard offers a wide selection of ice-cold cocktails, including our legendary Margaritas! The Boatyard Wine list is so exciting we are lost for words! Whether you are a novice or a true wine "snob" we hope you will find something you love at a price you find palatable. If you have suggestions for expanding our wine selections, please let us know. We want to stock our considerable cellar for the tastes of our guests. It is our aim to have a wine for everyone at a price they can afford!

Boatyard's Culinary Director Konrad Jochum was born in Berlin, Germany. He grew up in his father's butcher shop and learned to appreciate the difference quality ingredients can make. Konrad's first experience in the kitchen was in Germany's oldest inn, he was introducted to American cuisine in Chicago's finest restaurants, then moved up to management with Charlie's Crab House in Ft. Lauderdale. For 11 years, Konrad served as Executive Chef and GM of Key West's most successful restaurants: Half Shell Raw Bar, Turtle Kraals, Alonzo's Oyster Bar and the A&B Lobster House.
